Free data service
Statistics requestes requiring less than than 30 minutes and/or fewer than 10 photocopies are free of charge.
The statistics desk provides information about interest rates, foreign exchange rates, balance of payments, deposits and loans in the form of publications, time series, charts and tables. Clarifications and definitions of statistical concepts are also given as well as further information about the Bank of Finland's statistical publications. If need be, enquiries are forwarded to the relevant experts.
The statistics desk also carries out extensive data service based on time series. This is subject to payment upon separate agreement or it is done for database distributors which sell the Bank of Finland's extensive time series statistics.
Charge-based data service
The statistics desk provides data services for a charge based on a written agreement signed with the customer. The desk nevertheless seeks to avoid extensive, time-consuming data requests in order to better handle day-to-day data enquiries.
Time and other resources permitting, the statistics desk manager may handle extensive time series enquiries subject to the fees itemised below. These enquiries involve extensive time series by email or in paper copies. The charges listed below are inclusive of VAT.
Fees
- Extensive data service is charged at EUR 84 an hour.
- Extensive data runs are charged separately (at cost price).
- Copies in excess of 10 pages are charged EUR 0.16 per page.
