The Bank of Finland Library has a book collection specialising in currency and monetary policy, with an emphasis on economics. It mainly provides services to the Bank of Finland staff, but it is also open to outside researchers, Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 3.30 pm. The Library is closed on Maundy Thursday, New Year's Eve and other bank holidays. The Library also provides inter-library loan service (see the enclosed list of charges).
The right to use the Library requires a library card. To apply for the Library card, fill in the enclosed form and take it to the Library's information desk at Rauhankatu 19. Acquaint yourself with the Library rules and regulations. Access to the Library is via the lobby at Rauhankatu 19. As the main door is kept locked, contact security using the telephone beside the door (on the left), to be let in.
