Juuso Vanhala works as an economist at the Monetary Policy and Research Department, in the office for Monitoring. His areas of expertise include research in the modelling of labour market frictions in DSGE models.

Juuso Vanhala joined the Bank of Finland in 2006. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Helsinki and University College London (UCL) and received his doctoral degree in economics in 2007 from the University of Helsinki. Previously he has worked as a researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Helsinki as well as a visiting researcher at the Bank of Finland Research Unit.
