Principal Adviser Pekka Sutela, Monetary Policy and Research
Mr. Pekka Sutela studied economics, sociology, philosophy, statistics and mathematics at the University of Helsinki since 1969. Majored in economics in 1973. A licenciate in social sciences (econ.) in 1976, defended his doctorate in 1984.
A docent in economics at the University of Helsinki in 1986-1999, at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration since 2000.
A past member of the Boards of the Finnish Economic Society and of the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies.
A consultant for various Finnish and foreign governmental and private bodies.
