The Bank of Finland Brochure provides basic information on the Bank's status, objectives and tasks and on the structure and operations of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). The brochure has been published in Finnish, Swedish, and English in 2006. Printed copies may be obtained by free subscription from the Bank of Finland.

The Coins and Banknotes of Finland
In context with the publication of the third, revised edition of the Finnish-language book Suomen rahat, in 2003, the second English-language edition The Coins and Banknotes of Finland was also published. The book is written by Ph.D. Tuukka Talvio. He is the curator of the Coin Cabinet at the National Museum of Finland
The publication discusses the history of the Finnish mark throughout its entire lifespan, in addition to dealing with Finland’s earlier monetary history. It also contains a description of the design and introduction of euro banknotes and coins.
The book has been written from the viewpoint of the history of civilization. It includes descriptions of the designs as well as national symbols and other pictorial motifs presented on the banknotes and coins. The book contains high-quality colour pictures of all types of banknotes and coins issued by the Bank of Finland.
The book is available in bookstores and Bank of Finland museum. It is not available by mail or in electronic form.
